This Policy applies to the Vault Web Guard browser extension (the “Extension”) for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Mozilla Firefox, published by Ram Dhari Fintech Private Limited (the “Service Provider”) as part of its secure vault and access-control platform marketed under the brand “TickMyWork” (the “Services”).
The Extension is installed by an organisation (the “Customer”) on computers it manages, through the Vault agent and the browser’s administrative policies. It applies the Customer’s website rules (which pages are allowed or blocked) to address changes that happen inside an open browser tab. When a page is not allowed, the Extension shows a “This page is blocked” notice instead. Without rules from the Customer, the Extension does nothing.
| Information | Why | Where it stays |
|---|---|---|
| Address (URL) of the page shown in a tab | To compare it with the Customer’s website rules at the moment the address changes. | Checked in memory inside the browser and not recorded. It is never transmitted. |
| The Customer’s website rules | To know which pages are allowed or blocked. | Provided by the Customer’s administrator through the browser’s managed (policy) storage. Read-only for the Extension. |
| The last allowed page in a tab | To offer a “Back to the allowed page” button on the block notice. | Kept in the browser’s temporary session storage only. It is removed when the tab is closed and is cleared when the browser exits. |
The use of information by the Extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The Extension is one component of the Services deployed by the Customer. Other components of the Services (for example, the Vault agent installed on the computer) may process information about device and website activity as configured by the Customer. That processing is described in the TickMyWork Privacy & Employee-Monitoring Policy. The Customer is responsible for informing its employees about the Services and for any consents required by law.
The Extension is installed and configured by the Customer’s administrator and cannot be removed by the user of a managed computer. To ask about it, please contact your organisation’s IT administrator. When the Customer removes its website rules or uninstalls the Vault agent, the Extension is removed or becomes inactive.
The Extension is intended for use on computers managed by organisations and is not directed at children.
We may update this Policy if the Extension changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
